It is a simple roll cake, folk like other places, but come with a side dish – Halong special squid cake.


The cake is big, soft, with lots of meat, ear mite, and mushrooms. First, cook adds a thin flour-water on the clothes put on a hotpot. The flour-water is quickly cooked into a flat cake, taken out on a dish, filled and rolled. When eaten, the cake is still very hot due to quick move of cook.


Cake are spread on the plate, sprinkle dried onion, some coriander. Place next to the dish of rolls is a bowl of fish sauce and the special side dish – squid cake.


When eating, tourists pick up pieces of hot rolls dip into the bowl of fish sauce, eat with a little dry onions and squid cake. The most delicious rice-paper steamed is at the Bach Dang cinema, where so many locals gather to eat.
